Dustin R. Weinberger, Managing Director
Dustin Weinberger formed Coda Capital with Chris Bennett, and shares overall management responsibility for Coda Capital. Dustin is responsible for deal generation and overseeing due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation, along with fundraising, investor relations and managing the investment and portfolio company functions of the firm. Prior to co-founding Coda Capital, Dustin Weinberger was a managing director at GE Capital Corporation (“GECC”) where he led deal teams and managed client and intermediary relationships. Over the course of fourteen years at GECC he was responsible for advising corporate clients on structuring financings for mergers & acquisitions, management buy-outs, restructurings and general corporate purposes, as well as structured finance, project finance, interest rate management, second-lien, mezzanine and equity for clients in the metals, general manufacturing and food & beverage industries. Prior to GE, Dustin worked in various strategy consulting and sales & marketing roles for Borg-Warner/Burns International and the Atlanta Committee of the Olympics Games. Mr. Weinberger holds a BBA from the University of Oklahoma Price School of Business and a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a past president and board member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, a board member of the Chicago Booth Alumni Finance Roundtable and a member of Hyde Park Angels and the Turnaround Management Association. Dustin lives with his wife, son, daughter and black lab in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.
